Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Ian Duncan Smith
A year or so ago we went through a long dry spell without poetry, but as this year has gone by we’ve been very fortunate: more and more poets have graced our pages with their verse. Ian Smith has joined them and very kindly sent us a set of poems we can look forward to. I’m sure everyone will realize why his poems have been widely published and have won many prizes.
Ian is nothing if not versatile: his day jobs have been in engineering and technical writing. You’ll have to read his bio sketch for an explanation of the connection of his name with that of his novel Tony Blair: the Wilderness Years. It’s not about the Tony Blair, it’s about someone who thinks he’s Tony Blair... I think. And come to think of it, is Tony Blair who he thinks he is? Truly Bewildering Stories, one and all.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Ian. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
Ian Smith’s bio sketch can be found here.
