Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Jack Alcott
One of our newest contributors, Jack Alcott, hails from downstate New York, where he’s a newspaper editor in charge of special projects. While reading a collection of Edgar Allan Poe’s works, he discovered that Poe had briefly attended West Point, not far from where Jack lives. And the rest, as they say, is history... as well as an action-packed mystery novel about those obscure months in the early American poet’s career.
We have every hope that Jack Alcott’s Grim Legion will appear in print. In the meantime, you can get your sneak preview right here. We expect that our readers will be clamoring for us to publish it as rapidly as we can, and we’ll make every effort to do so.
Check out the first question in this issue’s official Challenge; it will add to your reading pleasure. And be sure to check out Jack Alcott’s bio sketch, as well.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Jack. Of course we want to find out ”who done it,” but not too fast: first, we want to enjoy the imaginary adventures of the young Edgar Allan Poe!
