Sarah Ann Watts

Another author joins our already sizable British contingent. Sarah lives in Hull, England and has been writing all her life. She began her first book at age 17 and is now seeking to publish her first novel. We don’t think it’s the same book: she’s had quite a few experiences since she started, not the least of which are children! A short story of hers has appeared in the anthology Liquorice Ice Cream and Other Just Desserts.

Her story “Vision in Flames,” in this issue, has a touch of the “British ghost” to it. One wonders at times who is doing what, exactly, and what really happened to bring someone back to a partly burned-out house. But that seems much less important than how the narrator feels about the experience.
