Patrick Dent

We don’t know where Patrick is geographically, but he sure is on line, and he takes writing seriously. He has a covert operations thriller published at Lulu, Execution of Justice, and a plethora of websites devoted to the craft of writing and information for new authors.

Patrick’s story in this issue, “A Lie — the Ultimate Marriage,” shows how a lie, once told, becomes a snare forever. However, one wonders: what would happen if the liar were found out? Or what would happen if he tried to disown his lie and tell the truth? Would anybody believe him? In any event, the narrator in the story is someone we’d care to meet only if he were safely incarcerated in the slammer.
