Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Pete Carter
One of our latest newcomers could pass for a New England frontiersman of colonial days. He’s added a few latter-day skills, such as automobile, electrical, and computer repair... In his spare time he writes short stories ranging between horror and satire.
“The Speed of Silence” is a crime story in an urban setting, complete with a chase scene. And yet the story is highly original in style: it’s very interior; motion and time come to a standstill as the thoughts of the pursued spread outwards in seemingly random levels of association.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Pete. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
