Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Stefan Brenner
Stefan has a degree in European literature and is a fan of German Romanticism. He’s presently studying for a doctorate in the Philosophy of Science at Cambridge.
We owe Mike Lloyd thanks for telling Stefan about Bewildering Stories; they met quite by coincidence while fishing near Mike’s home in the lovely British countryside — where Mike and, we presume, Stefan as well, regularly bag pike the size of the Creature from the Dark Lagoon.
Stefan says he was a motorcycle racer in his youth. And that I imagine we owe the realism and sheer thrill of racing that Stefan depicts so vividly in “The Lady of Mann.” Readers will become rereaders, and writers will return again and again to the story for a wealth of instruction on ways in which a story can include pacing, description, misperception, foreshadowing, and combined plots.
Stefan Brenner’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Stefan. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
