Steven Berry

Inspired by a Stephen King novel at the age of six, Steven Berry has found his career in writing fiction. In the process he has written four novels, one of them apparently quite immense.

“Dark Water” is neither science fiction nor horror. It is a mainstream story and a cautionary tale about a dysfunctional father-son relationship hovering at the brink of total breakdown. The lesson is that only outside intervention can prevent such conflicts from ending in catastrophe, and the intervention may be too accidental for comfort.
