Peter A. Balaskas

Peter comes to us with impressive combination of academic credentials: a B.S. degree in Chemistry and an M.A. in English (creative writing and literature). He’s published fiction and poetry on line and in print. His “supernatural” novel The Grandmaster has received an award and has appeared in print. He’s finished a first collection of short stories and is starting a second. Whew! Keep up the good work, Peter!

“In His House,” which begins in this issue, falls into the “hotel” subgenre. The interior setting focuses on the powerful psychological stresses affecting the narrator.
