Philip Armstrong

Philip’s coordinates locate him somewhere in the South Pacific, perhaps somewhat farther south than Bernard Gilboy’s route in Gilboy’s Quest. Philip says it’s a port town where whalers have been replaced by cattle shippers. And this has a lot to do, he says, with his interest in the ways in which humans and animals interact.

“Ferity” takes place on an imaginary world with new and different animals, including one that is very elusive and hard to keep when caught.
