Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Marge Burke
Marge says that she and her pet dog both write for a local magazine and newspaper where she lives. That does recall Dilbert’s old joke: “On the Internet, nobody knows if you’re...” But I rather think that “Lace” comes to us from the real Marge! She has a lot of different activities, one of which is historical research.
“Lace” gives us an unconventional slant on communications between spouses. Things have come to a pretty pass when it consists of mystery notes prompting the husband to make up his mind between his wife and his mistress. The story is also unconventional in that it’s anything but the garden-variety revenge fantasy we receive all too often.
Marge Burke’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Marge. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
