Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Carol Reid
Carol is hardly new to Bewildering Stories: her Challenge responses have been most welcome, as has her participation in the forum. Among her publications is a “tomato” story and a murder msytery with music. She says her works have vanished with the small magazines and anthologies in which they appeared. Carol, we hope we can cajole you into allowing us to consider reprints!
“Blackbird” is somewhat reminiscent of one of her favorite authors, Edgar Allan Poe: I imagine he’d have appreciated the tribute. The story is full of mystery, with quite effective scene setting in a gloomy night in the Scottish Highlands.
Carol Reid’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Carol. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
