Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Emanuele Pettener
Emanuele Petter comes from Italy and has been living in the U.S. for the past eight years. He teches Italian language and literature at Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton.
Emanuele has published short stories in both Italian and American magazines and has a novel scheduled for publication in the spring of next year.
“Grassona” is set in Boca Raton, where a young Italian writer, Tommaso, finds himself practically indentured to a fat lady who publishes a weekly magazine of erotica. Tommaso is intrigued by Alice, whom he meets at a swimming pool and who is not especially pretty but who seems to treat him as less than a curiosity...
It’s said — rightly or wrongly — that writers should “write what they know.” But let’s not read too much into “Grassona”; let’s just sit back and enjoy the fun!
Emanuele Pettener’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Emanuele. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
