Channie Greenberg
Prof. Greenberg goes by variations on her name, “Channie” being reserved for fiction. She lives with her family in Jerusalem, where she is a professor of Rhetoric. Her published work ranges from essays to short fiction and poetry as well as academic writing.
“Recumbent Riches” is a whimsical piece of flash fiction. It examines the micro-politics involved in implementing a new source of electricity and considers a possible drawback in the old science-fiction handwavium “Reverse the polarity!” One consideration: hamstering may not be practical, but Channie may want to patent her idea, just in case. These days, one never knows...
