Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Scott E. Rupp
Scott Rupp lives in Salem, Oregon. He has had a long and distinguished career in journalism: he won several awards as a reporter for the Tampa Tribune, and before that he was a theater critic for newspapers in the Los Angeles area.
“Where the Night is Black and Uninvaded” is very hard to classify. It’s not fiction in the orthodox sense. Rather, it’s a lyrical essay that could very easily qualify as prose poetry or a true memoir. Let’s give it credit for being remarkably effective in all three genres at once: a memoir in the mode of lyrical prose poetry.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Scott. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
