Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Rob Hunter
Rob lives in Maine after a career spent in various phases of communications, which include spells as a railroad telegrapher and a disc jockey.
“Cherokee Purple” is not as long as it appears: its nine pages average about 1,000 words. And it’s complete on line as of issue 364; just follow the links.
The story itself is a combination of deadpan light and dark comedy and convincing social realism, although Harley Pigeon seems to be quite well-read for someone of his occupation and location. Readers will find the story a page-turner, wondering all the while: “What the heck is going on? What has been going on, anyway?” As for what will happen, the tomatoes have something to say about that.
Rob Hunter’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Rob. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
