Terry Hamel

Terry lives with his family in Edmonton, Alberta where he’s a “secretive” operative for the Canadian military. He’s published poetry and stories and is an active member of several writers’ forums. He’s also trying to finish at least one of the several novels he has in the works.

“Pit of Sorrows” might be classified as a revenge-fantasy fantasy. The setting could be anywhere; the characters are important. Lysak is a sadistic executioner; Tyrane is his latest victim and defiant to the very end.

Saved by the tortured souls in the Pit of Sorrows, Tyrane returns to exact revenge on Lysak for all who have gone before him. His last word is a moral to executioners: what Lysak has done is unspeakable; Tyrane’s doing the same to him is criminal.
