Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Oscar Sapper
Oscar lives in South London “with a cat and various family members.” He enjoys exploring “strange places on short notice.” He started writing at an early age and hopes to study for a degree in English literature.
“Bright Orion” is hard to classify. Is it a short story or a lyrical essay? It has elements of both, but we’ve listed it as a short story, because the narrator — though standing in one place — completes a long and touching emotional journey across time and space.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Oscar. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
