Bewildering Stories welcomes...
John Walsh
John lives with his family in Bangkok and works at Shinawatra University. He’s lived and worked in many different places in Europe, Africa and Asia. Aside from academic papers about economic development in Southeast Asia, he’s had success with a number of short stories recently.
“Thel” is an allegorical tale about political, social and, apparently, interpersonal conflict told from the point of view of intelligent machines. As for the style of the story, imagine a collaboration between Borges, Gibson, and Stanislaw Lem.
John Walsh’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, John. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
