Chris Hugh

Chris has been a Unix sysadmin and a math teacher; she is a freelance writer and is looking forward to having been a lawyer. Chris has also published quite a bit of fiction on line and in print.

“The Dragon With the Girl Tattoo” raises a problem of classification: does it belong in Short Stories or in The Critics’ Corner? In view of the dramatization, we’ve opted for short story. It is something of a send-up of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo in the sense that it rockets the novel on a one-way trip to outer space. Readers who liked the novel will surely object, but our contributors will find Chris’s story a very instructive cautionary tale!
