Jacob Peppers

Jacob has a degree in English and works as a staff writer for V3 magazine. He’s also published in literary journals.

“A Rune Scribe’s Past” is serialized in issues 496 and 497; it is complete on line as of this issue. It’s a “zombie” story to the extent that zombies pose a big problem, but it is actually about two characters — Drasayun and Calek — who have something to offer society and yet are misfits, even outcasts. Judging by the running title, “Tales of Calek,” it’s part of a larger work. At the end, readers will want to know more about the further adventures of the warrior and the rune scribe.
