Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Ward Webb
R. W. (Ward) Webb is originally from North Carolina and is now living in New York City.
“A Visitor in Valhalla” tells a very odd story about the last man in the world who hears a knock at the door. The visitor turns out to be a figment of the ancient philosopher Plato. The last man, named William, has been alone for six years. He is understandably surprised but also very perturbed and reluctant to receive such ghostly company. But since he’s going to experience not one but — count ’em — two apocalypses, why not join the ghost and go with the flow?
For the record: Ward is no relation to the Managing Editor.
