Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Gary Smothers
Gary has had quite a lot of success in publishing fiction. Keep up the good work, Gary!
“Tom Ford, the Girl and Rejection” is a very unusual mixture of tragedy, comedy and farce. Tom Ford, an aspiring but unsuccessful writer, is so good at feeling sorry for himself that nobody else will be inclined to do it for him. And that’s the whole point: even the doll — which he hallucinates as being a real person — proceeds to relieve herself upon him, his works and his blighted family history. And when Tom finally realizes he’s been tormenting himself, he’s left with only Dolly’s option: get real.
