Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Kerry Gans
Kerry looks with some fondness at the many activities and occupations that she says have shaped her life. Among them, writing has been the most permanent. And it seems to have led her to an advanced degree in English and considerable activity on the Net.
Kerry writes mostly fiction for young adults. “To Light and Guard” might qualify as “suburban horror” and as a cautionary tale for teen-age babysitters as well as a mother who happens to be “home alone” with a child on a dark and stormy night.
What could the mother do other than install an alarm system when she fears the approach of a serial criminal in the neighbourhood? It’s hard to say. But one thing is sure: terror is a two-edged sword, and the most innocent trinket can become a deadly weapon in the hands of a desperate parent.
