Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Christine Wohlers
Christine lives in San Antonio, Texas, where she’s a middle-school reading teacher. She enjoys science fiction and fantasy and especially likes stories that give unique and original twists to classic genres.
“Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse” does exactly what Christine says she likes best: with gentle, tongue-in-cheek humor it brings the current zombie fad almost literally down to earth.
Survivalists would do well to take heed. In fact, one can say the essay is reminiscent of the conclusion that Candide draws after his hair-raising adventures: “We have to cultivate our garden.” And, one might add these days, “Organically, of course.” How better to stave off the zombies?!

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Christine. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
