Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Marian Brooks
Marian is a native of Philadelphia and lives near there with her family. She majored in English literature at Penn and has an advanced degree in psychology from Villanova. After a long career as a psychotherapist and then in pharmaceutical development she’s now retired and has turned to writing short fiction. She has had remarkable success, publishing some fifty stories.
“Tree Incarnation” is a prose poem that allows us to overhear the thoughts of an old oak tree. Many a reader will relate personally to the tree’s kindly reflections on its long life and the world around it.
