Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Lilliana Rose

Lilliana grew up on a farm in Australia. She says she has “played with DNA,” traveled, and contemplated the theories of Jung. She has a degree in Creative Writing and likes to write poetry as well as fantasy stories about “misguided monsters” and odd but lovable creatures.

Browsing” is a story about a “microbe” going from one “cell” to another in a shopping-mall “organism.” The premise will appeal to a female audience; male readers will probably get sore feet just thinking about it.

But the premise is playful and fun. One might imagine the “organism” expelling the “microbe” with a sneeze on the grounds of its maxed-out credit card or the microbe’s being arrested by mall security in the form of phagocytes, but readers can appreciate the microbe’s having quite a jolly time searching for and trying on new “skins.”

Lilliana Rose’s bio sketch can be found here.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Lilliana. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
