Michael S. Stewart

Michael lives with his family north of Seattle, in the Puget Sound area. He’s a Marine veteran and has held many different kinds of jobs but now works as a systems engineer at a telecom company. Michael is new to writing but “sees a story in everything.” You’re right about that, Michael!

“A Crew Comes Home to Port” is a story about two boat crews: one does come home as planned, but the other must wait a very long time until the crewmen can at last rejoin their families. It’s an unusual kind of ghost story, one that has a happy ending.
