“Reminiscent of Copper Cove” is a mystery story about a mystery story — or even two of them. Perhaps one of the morals of the story is that detectives would do well to read crime fiction. Or another moral may enjoin caution, lest life imitate art. Maybe scoundrels will use crime fiction as a self-help manual in getting away with murder!
