Kelly is a college instructor and writer living in the Great Plains of the American Midwest. She is fond of reptiles. She has published poetry and fiction.

“Junie B. May Meets a Dragon” is set in a colorful backwoods town beset by a dragon, which does some damage. Junie is sent to meet the dragon, but the meeting does not go quite as expected.
