Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Barbara Buckley Ristine
Barbara is originally from Long Island but, after a spell in Virginia and New Jersey, has lived in northern Nevada for the last twenty years. She has practiced law, helped manage a software firm, and has raised a family. Now she has the time to write short stories, historical fiction and poetry.
“The Good Daughter” is aimed at a young adult audience, readers of middle- and high-school age. It has a double lesson: a realistic view of the dangers inherent in the use of social media and the consequences of blame when one has a biased viewpoint and doesn’t know all the facts. Readers will wonder about Sara’s final message: Will she post it? Can she?
