Chris enjoys writing science fiction and horror, particularly dark, grim, calm stories featuring characters whose complexity is revealed by circumstances.

Is the story science fiction or fantasy? Whichever one decides it is, the characters certainly fulfill the author’s principles of “dark” and “grim,” but they are at the same time “calm,” for the most part, and certainly complex. In the end, the somewhat impatient flying cathedral must know that its presence hasn’t really changed life on earth: heroes and villains are always with us.
