Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Gregory E. Lucas
Gregory lives in New Castle, Delaware, where he has held a long career as a tutor in a public school district. He has published short fiction and poetry extensively on line and in literary journals. And he plays classical guitar.
“The Slaughter” is a poem that suggests a rather large backstory. A farmer, who appears cold and heartless, forces his son to slaughter a hog. The operation is normal for a farm, but the boy is very upset. Readers are invited to speculate: What’s really going on here?

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Gregory. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
