Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Casey E. Hamilton
Casey has a degree in History and English. She has just started writing and has published one short story. She has also done highly credited work at a literary journal.
“Plenty of Fish” is a dark cautionary tale about a young girl’s fascination with a cult of celebrity. Readers may wonder what the “fish” are, exactly, and whether they really exist. They may also wonder why the other “beauty queen” candidates shun Hero, but the point is that she is more isolated than she knows. Hero learns too young the lesson of Flaubert’s Madame Bovary.
