Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Steve Slavin
Steve says he’s a “recovering” economics professor who now specializes in writing books on mathematics and economics. He’s published several dozen short stories in many literary magazines.
“The Enabler” will charm readers with the bittersweet story of Mary, who is a cheerful, hardworking soul and the mainstay of her relatively no-account husband, David. As the driving force behind David’s amateur literary magazine, she has to write a rejection notice to Rachel, a ten-year old would-be contributor. The letter is very sweet and supportive, and Rachel keeps it forever, as a memento. Readers can probably surmise why Mary’s letter is so long.
