“Frosty Jack” comes just in time for Halloween. The setting is spooky enough: a school in a remote village located in the north woods of Canada, And the action begins just as the long winter is setting in. The aboriginals have given the newcomers fair warning: they are living on the ground of a snow demon, and someone has to “pay the rent.” But that’s where it starts, really; the school janitor is a kind of custodian in more ways than one...
