Cindy lives with her family on a working homestead in the north woods of Maine. She has published extensively and has just completed a novel.

“Loss of Control” starts with a prologue that tells the readers what is going to happen. But the important thing is why. Why might two abused partners in two separate relationships be content with the plausible explanation that a traffic cop might note as “Failure to keep vehicle under control”? The drivers have reason enough, as readers soon discover.
