And when you will know me,
know me in blue,
you will sit across from me
and tell me what you know.
That you want a wall.
That you were blessed
by the sea-creatures.
This is all down to me.
The lights
on the ocean at night,
your deepest sleep —
all down to me.
I’m aware of this earth
and the cruel feet
that wear it down
to some core.
In that fire
we both could drown.
