J. C. D. has degrees in Creative Writing and Journalism. She has published several stories and writes for and edits a college blog and magazine. She travels frequently betweeen Albany and New York City.

“The Bounty Hunter” is rip-snorting Wild West science fiction in Star Wars style. Perhaps the story signals the end of the genre. The life of a hired gun out to capture bad guys may be exciting, but the bounty hunter is left to regret a peaceful life he might have had.
