Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Harrison Kim
Harrison lives in British Columbia, where he has had a long career as the teacher at a forensic psychiatric hospital. He started writing recently, in November 2018, and has published some short stories. His favourite authors are the old classics of horror and noir, especially Poe, Lovecraft, Bierce, Hawthorne and King. Harrison is also interested in tales of the paranormal.
“The Screaming Pool” recalls something that Harrison says about his day job: he’s met a lot of interesting people. If the narrator of “The Screaming Pool” is anything like them, readers may well reanalyze “interesting” as “hair-raising.” What is it like to be a psychopath who will do literally anything to gain the notoriety he craves? Do we really want to know? No, but it is better to know than not; forewarned is forearmed.
Harrison Kim’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Harrison. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
