Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Andrew Johnston
Andrew is from western Kansas and, at the University of Kansas, dicovered he was a “sinophile.” He currently lives in Hefei, in Anhui province. He has published short fiction in several journals.
“Halted” is based on a fanciful puzzle: what would happen if all clocks stopped at 2:41? We wouldn’t get two for one in terms of days, necessarily, but we»d expect that sundials and hourglasses would soon reappear. And what if time itself stopped? One might recall J. G. Ballard’s “The Day of Forever” (1966), which begins: “At Columbine Sept Heures it was always dusk.”

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Andrew. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
