Judson Blake

Judson has had several experiences and careers: literature, mathematics, finance, technical writing and programming. And, especially, writing, directing and acting in the theater in New York City.

“The Cantalino Bus Ride” will challenge readers to decide whether the story is fantasy, contemporary social realism, or both at once. Hopefully, readers will sympathize with the “reasoner,” Cici. And, in retrospect, with the long-tailed primate that tries to divert the bus from its deadly mission. Does the story conclude in fantasy? It suggests that otherwise innocuous people can turn video-game violence into reality by sheer uncaring thoughtlessness. Definitely a cautionary tale for our times.
