Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Wes Blalock
Wes has retired as a police sergeant after 28 years of service and now teaches field training and background investigation at his local police academy. He has been writing prolifically for many years, and his stories have been very well received.
“Tears for Lucifer” will engage readers from the outset with its expert characterization; Ranger Birdie McLaren and her friends come alive in dialogue and action. Readers will gradually realize that staying alive in the Bigfoot country of northern California can be a tall order. When large, unidentified wild animals are on the loose, heavy weapons are needed. But what to do without them? Survival may ultimately depend on the cool courage and expert marksmanship of a wilderness scout.
