Silvia Hines
Silvia has worked in psychology research, adult education and as a counselor for learning-disabled adults. She has published articles on medicine, health and other features. In semi-retirement, she is writing short stories and essays.
“Science and Derision” will intrigue readers with its depiction of two characters in philosophical conflict: Benny and Eden. Like the other characters in the story, readers will say, “Wait, I like these characters. I don’t want to have to choose between them.” And that does seem to be the moral that Benny learns.
