Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Richard Fleming
Richard is from Ireland and now lives on the island of Guernesey with his spouse, the novelist Jane Mosse. He has written for the BBC and mainstream publications. He has two collections in print and is active in publishing in a blog.
“Red Umbrella” tells — in fewer than sixty words — a story worthy of a novel. It has everything: a couple in love, settings, and the passage of time and age distinguished by tactile imagery. Short poetry needn’t all look the same. Quite foreseeably, “Red Umbrella” will be cited as a classic model of what short poetry can do.
