J. B. Polk

J. B. says that she sometimes gets seasick while her world-traveling compatriot, Joseph Conrad, never did. J.B.’s writing has been short-listed for Ireland’s Hennessy Awards. She has been a regular contributor to publications in the U.K. and Ireland and, later, in Chile and Mexico.

“And a Partridge in a Pear Tree” will amuse readers by its dark, perhaps cautionary twist on the fairytale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
