Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Drew Alexander Ross
Drew resides in Los Angeles. He has studied business and film at the University of San Francisco. His favorite literary genre is fantasy, and he has published short stories in several publications. His screenplays have earned attention in three competitions.
“The Chalice and the Gargoyles” is a fantasy featuring old gargoyles who come to life in defense of an old village church. Readers will surely be amused and will appreciate the moral of the story.
Readers will also have questions, such as: What is the denomination of the church? Almost any denomination would have hymnals in the pews, not Bibles. And can’t damaged gargoyles be repaired? Are they aware of what goes on in daytime? And does the knight have any real function?
