“The Finishing Touch” will charm readers with a story told from the viewpoint of a 12-year old girl, June, who begins to learn of her parentage when she touches the hand of her deceased grandfather and thereby enters a ghost story. June is introduced to the complex relationship of her mother and father, which is by turns both sad and comical.
