Mitchell lives in San Francisco, one of the world’s cities in which he enjoys the garden spaces. In addition to literature, his interests also include architecture, music and the psychology of dreams.

“Annika’s Dream” begins with a gruesome tragedy: a vehicular homicide. But the setting and the victim are ultimately redeemed by the banishment of motor vehicles from city streets and by the reincarnation of the victim. Readers will enjoy an imaginative foretaste of a relatively idyllic future.
