Seeing Buffalo is a novel beginning in issue 923; it promises to take readers back to Crete and King Minos’ labyrinth. In that way, the story joins an elite group at Bewildering Stories, one that cultivates the fertile ground of classic mythology. The precedent most directly related is Danko Antolovic’s My Name Is Daedalus. “Seeing Buffalo” transports the setting to contemporary times.
