Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Kjetil Jansen
Kjetil lives in Bergen, Norway, where he sees the Northern Lights and has a pet polar bear named Maul. He has published in chapbooks.
“A Handy Stone” will surely intrigue readers with its innovative narration. It’s almost entirely interior monologue describing the thoughts of an elderly gentleman who is out for a walk and who encounters the work of a serial killer and then the killer himself.
The stylistic accomplishment consists in depicting the man’s increasingly breathless panic in a way that keeps the readers firmly glued to the page and not rushing — themselves panic-stricken — to the fridge. That’s no mean feat!

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Kjetil. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
